It's a Saturday morning in Paris.... Last night we performed at the Paris Opera House which was built in the mid-1800s. Probably the most ornate hall I've ever played in. Absolutely beautiful! The ceiling is taken up by an original Marc Chagall. He must've painted it while lying on his back! It was just amazing being able to look up from my vantage point on the stage & see it. I'm told the painting is a tribute to a number of composers. I'll have to do a web search to find out the details. The performance was a huge success with the president's wife & a few members of the French cabinet in attendance. Today we move onto Brussels for our show there tomorrow & then back to Germany for 3 more before coming home.
