Greetings from NYC... The gig last night with Tiyee went very well. I'm kind of acting as musical director/bandleader/point man with this project & I was very lucky to assemble a great band for her. She'd been going through some management problems so we hadn't worked together in almost a year. It's a testament to the musicianship of the band that we were able to totally kick ass on-stage last night after not playing for so long & having only 1 rehearsal the day before. Tiyee is an extremely talented rock singer & is totally worth checking out. Her webiste is www.tiyee.com. Playing rock drums is a blast for me & I'm really hoping that we'll have some more gigs soon. I'll put them up here as I get the info. This weekend I'm off to Los Angeles to play drums in the house band of the Chabad Telethon which will be broadcast live this coming Sunday. It's alot of fun. Last year we got to play with everyone from traditional Jewish singers to Perry Farrell (of Jane's Addiction & Lolapalooza fame). Can't wait to see what this year brings. Check your local TV listings & check it out!
