Transmitting From NYC...
Just a note to let you know that, over the last few weeks, I've added quite a few nice reviews to the Press page, the latest being from Cadence Magazine, an extremely well-respected international jazz publication that's been around for decades. I'm very proud to be included & doubly proud that they enjoyed my music.
As live work has been on the slow side in recent weeks, I've been able to begin writing some new music for what I hope to be the next CD, to be recorded sometime over the next year or so. The music has been flowing really nicely & rather quickly thus far which is, of course, encouraging. It's always fun, in these formative stages, to wonder what the new music will ultimately sound like when it's recorded, and whether or not it'll take shape in a solo or group context. We'll see...
